My father Paramjeet Singh holds (credit card no. 5176 5210 0536 6952) with Hdfc. We, Made a purchase of Rs.25000 from our card for which we have recieved the statement with the amount converted in the EMI option. Although we have not requested for the same. So, we called cust. care stating we dont want to pay amt in Emi as we are ready to pay the complete amount at once so Kindly tell us the exact amt to be paid. Didn't received a waver and the due date passed away. And thereafter the cycle broke up. Each month when they wave off my last months fine the date would have been already passed away and new fine would have already implemented.
I started getting threatening & abusive calls from The bank's Ansal Plaza (Rajouri Garden, New Delhi) recovery department. Which was totally mentally harassment for me. I had made alot of mails to the bank for solving the issue as this issue was spoiling my banking records but ultimate ans was unsatisfactory.
I am looking for a justice. I want that person to be punished who threatened me abused me, My dad. Cos this is not a way. In other terms Bank is responsible for such behaviour. Kindly guide me what should We do.
