My HDFC credit card No is 5176521004729218. I have asked for my card settlement for about 10 months and I was told that unless one yer is completed the card cannot be closed. Hence I agreed to that and I didnt do any transactions in that card. But after one year of completion, when I asked for settlement, the response was not proper from the executives of your bank. Four months back, my entire salary from my HDFC savings account was freezed and transferred to my credit card account. But event after that payment my card was kept inactive.
Also I was told that my card can be settled for Rs.21000/- out of which I have already paid 16500/- for which the bank has failed to give me a bill against the same. The remaining money I have to pay is only about Rs.4500/-. After which there is no contacts from your executives regarding the settlement.
But now in past 45days, a sum of Rs.18300/- has been taken from my savings account without any intimation. When I have approached the bank, the executives told me that my card has been approved for Rs.7000/- settlement in two shots. This was not communicated to me and I don't know why there have been excess amount taken from my account when there is no requirement. I would request the concern person to answer my below mentioned questions
1) Why the settlement details was not communicated to me when I was ready to settle my card?
2) When there is a settlement approved for Rs.7000/- why extra money have been taken from my account?
3) Why the executives failed to do their job which puts me in deep trouble and mental disturbances?
4) Why there has been no bill provided when I made the payment?
I would request you to take action and give my money back whatever have been taken in excess to the settlement money and provide me with the settlement bills and a complete relief from your bank. I am just holding my savinga account with HDFC bank since my company account stays with HDFC.
