Sub: Poor pick-up complaint in Glamour
I, M.Rathinakumar, Ahmedabad purchased a Galmour two-wheeler from your dealer M/s. Bikes Auto, Vijay Cross Roads, Ahmedabad on 11.03.2008. Vehicle details are as follows:

I have been getting all the free services done by the same dealer and have not skipped any services. Details of free service attentions:
1st Free Service 581 14.04.2008

The two wheeler has clocked just 6200 Kms. as of today.
I have been experiencing poor acceleration complaint in my bike since 4000 odd Kms. I had left the vehicle at M/s. Bikes Auto, Ahmedabad service centre to resolve the complaint quite a few times. Their efforts to resolve the complaint produced no results. Finally on 11.09.2008 @ 4934, I left the bike and wanted your Service Engineer to attend to it personally. I was delivered the bike after a week on 18.09.2008. When I wanted to know the problem observed in the bike, nobody shared the findings with me, though they assured that the problem has been resolved and would not recur.
However after clocking 1000 Kms. since that attention, the same problem is getting repeated.
The exhaust pipe of the bike is getting heated and I get a burning smell while driving. Also the silencer pipe becomes very much hot which is abnormal in comparison with other bikes. One can feel the temperature on his right leg while driving.
I seriously feel that there is something wrong with the engine. The silencer is getting chocked up as something is burning inside and creates back pressure on the engine. This leads to poor acceleration
I am a loyal consumer of Hero Honda products. I am entirely satisfied with the quality of your products. I earlier had a Hero Honda Passion:

I sold the Passion Plus and bought this new Glamour, since I wanted to go for a one with electric starter.
Ever since I bought this new Glamour bike I am not happy with its performance.
I hereby request you to advise the concerned to look into the matter and do the needful.
