I have bought HONDA UNICORN on 3rd July 09 from one of your Dealer Basin Honda (New Delhi). I have bought Unicorn on the market reputation of being one of the most refined bike available in India. On the 15th day I notices cracks on my from wheel of the motorcycle. The motorcycle came with OE supplied tyres from MRF (2.75 – 18 Nylogrip ZFS). During the first service the dealership asked me that you should directly approach the MRF for the replacement. I got the tyre replaced from one of the MRF’s franchise on Mathura Road. (New Delhi).
After this the bike was reported to the workshop (Basin Honda) for the handle wobbling problem. Since only the tyre was change in the earlier defect. It was found that due to tyre problem this phenomenon had happened. The tyre again got replaced at the MRF office (No – 22 A, Najafgarh Road Shivaji Marg). The bike again went to the workshop for the problem of handle problem. On 22nd July 09 it was found that the rubber inside the handle bars (both upper and lower had got loose). And to my surprise none of dealer’s namely Basin Honda, V.D Honda, and J.B Honda had the NEW GROOMET (as per new part list of Honda) in their stock. And till today it’s not available with them.
I Wonder if the dealer has passed me some substandard old bike.
