Current purchase - HONDA CITY V-TECH on 29-03-09 from Ring road Honda, Moti nagar
After having bought Honda city on 29-03-09 a representative from your company visited me at my residence with a questionnaire which made me reflect on my experience with your authorized dealer and i am sorry to say that i am feeling cheated on many counts as listed below.
1. I had already decided to purchase Honda City and hence did not take up the offer of the sales rep for a test drive. Inspite of my decision to purchase Honda no details of the car were explained to me. The whole approach of the above mentioned showroom was that THEY ARE DOING ME A BIG FAVOUR BY ALLOWING ME TO PURCHASE YOUR COMPANYS CAR. This is all in hindsight as i wanted to buy the car before march closing and i did not give much attention to my interaction with the showroom
personal.
2. On enquiring whether any discount is being offered on the car i was told that there was no discount on the V-TECH model, a statement which after answering your questionnaire i believe to be not true.
3. For availing the corporate discount when i first visited the above mentioned showroom (28-03-09) i was told to give a copy of IMA regestration within 7-8 days. When i went with the pay order on 29-03-09 i was told to deposit the regestration before march end if i wanted to avail the discount. I had to spend the whole of next day to collect the registration cert. and give it to them.
4. I was given a choice of only four colours when six colours were available.
5. No car cover was given which i believe is included in the price.
6. No mud flaps provided.
7. We had to tell them to clean the car whereas they are supposed to decorate it.
8. There was just enough petrol to reach the petrol pump. I had to request them to give an addtional 2 litres for which i offered to pay. In the end an extra 2 litres was given with an attitude that suggested as if a big favour has been done.
9. No sweets were offered for which i believe the company pays.
As i sit back and recollect my experience with the brand HONDA i am feeling cheated, both financially and personally and started to think maybe it would have been better to stick with MARUTI SUZUKI and gone for SX4. I am sure deep down in your heart you will agree with me. Hope your company wakes up and changes its complacent attitude towards its customers for as the saying goes- A CUSTOMER IS ALMOST ALWAYS RIGHT.
