Transfer of NSC not done during the last 5 months

I had submitted a request letter to transfer my National Savings Cerificates, at Kuzhithurai post office located in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu. The request was submitted in person by my husband on 14.10.2008 but the transfer had taken place till date.
