We happen to be unfortunate owners of a HP colour Laserjet2600N bought at a handsome Rs17, 500/-.

We had sent it on Thursday 11.12.08 to Redington because the printing was non aligned and paper pickup problem. Sonali at Redington had said it would cost us Rs.150/- for checking what the problem was and we would have to send it to their address since it was out of warranty. We agreed to send it and specifically instructed her to get the machine checked then and there and report and return the machine, since we didn't intend to leave it at their works.

Inspite of it we were asked to leave the machine and to contact today. Today the machine was released after we had to cough up Rs750/- for cleaning it seems. (instead of earlier quoted Rs.150/-). What cleaning? The machine has been used sparingly and kept dust free all along. Used properly single handedly. The problems still remains. The cleaned machine has gained new scratches on the exterior shows mistreatment of the machine while it was lying at your works. Sachin who says his role is to clean the machine and charge Rs.750/- If the machine is to be made workable we have to change the scanner and many other parts about which there is no report.

We have spent Rs.1000/- odd more for nothing. Rs.200 each time and man hours to send the machine one day and to bring back after 2 days.

HP Products are costly and and substandard. There is no after Sales interaction. Meanwhile the warranty runs out. and the so called appointed service stations also are out to dupe customers.

We need refund and a report on what the problem and what parts need to be changed and at what cost?
