I have a Compaq v3228au laptop -product no. RZ819PA, Serial no. 2CE7080413, the system doesn't boot till the time i don't insert the ac adapter code and the wireless adapter is also not detected which means I can't use wireless internet on my laptop. I have contacted HP but they say that these are general issues identified with these series of laptops and there was a one year extended warranty as the series had an existing fault, the warranty is over now, they say that the motherboard may have to be replaced which is nearly half the price of the laptop. HP never informed me about this issue at the time of purchase. HP was already aware of these issues and they cheated the customers by selling these products, they should repalce the machine instead of providing a no use extended warranty which doesn't solve the issue. A lot of other people across the world are also facing the same issues with this series of Compaq laptops.
