As my Laptop was not switching on I took it to the Service Center, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad on 19th of January.
They told me they will check the system and inform me about the problem the very next day which they never did. When I called them up and Took the details they said it will take them to replacement of the mother board and will take 4-5 days. I asked for a stand by Laptop for the time being. which they refused to give saying that it was not available at that time. and anyways the whole process will take 4 days so there is no need for it. I cam back convinced with the answer.
Then on Thursday, 22nd of January, I recieved a call from HP centre Delhi, that my laptops MotherBoard is on way and I can very well collect teh piece latest by Monday. I was rest assured and didnt arranged for an alternative and scheduled all my work for tuesday.
I went to HP on Tuesday, 27th of January, and they told me they are fixing the system and needs time and will inform me as soon as it is done. But asusual the call never came. So I went the very next day and they inform me they had recieved a fault piece and are starting the whole process again. I asked for a Standby again which they have told me before they will arrange if it takes more than 1 week, which they kindly refused. And on Wednesday they assured that I will get the piece next day.
But today they are again denying of the work being done and even for giving a Standby.
I am a student whose whole academic schedule and Placements work are stuck. I could have arranged for an alternative on my on expense if they wouldnt have assured me for recieving back my own part and for a stand by.
But Now I need a clarification for the delay and harrassment which I have gone through due to all of this
which is a fault on their part. Is this the Service which a authorised Service centre provides. and who is answerable for these cases and faults in their own working system.
