Not accepting imint cards

I filled petrol at Autolines, University Road, Pune 2 days back. They refused to accept the imint card saying that the special machine to swipe imint cards has not been installed anywhere in Pune and they are helpless in this regard. If this is the case then why have I been sent an imint card and of what use is it to me? If what the people at the petrol pump say is true then when are the said machines going to be installed at Pune? 7e19a
