Late fee

Hi All,

i took the ICICI credit care in jan But for intial two months i did not get an bill and i had to call the customer care wasting my time in the call queue just to know how much i have to pay for the month.

On repeated request i did not recevie my bill for the third month also. As i did not receive i again called the bank to know the outstanding amount.

But this time i was quite determined that unless i get my bill i will not make the pament, I got the bill late and the payment was also late.

I call several times to the call center to find a justification for charging me late fee, As per my understanding as it was not my fault they should not have charged me late fee.

I was quite upset and decided to stop using the card and i have not been using the card from the fourth month after paying all my principle amount.

Every month I am getting credit card bill with intreast charged on the late fee. Till now the late is compunded into 10000 Rs. The late fee was charged on 500 Rs and in one year the late fee is has become 20 times of the princple ammout

I would request the consmer complaints forum to look into the issue
