Payment Dispute for the lost card

I am residing in Bangalore. I lost my Credit Card of ICICI Bank on 4th November and it was swiped by someone at two shops in Bangalore only between 5:15 pm to 6:00 pm. The total amount used was Rs.19, 746.00. After that I immediately called the ICICI Customer Care and blocked the Card. I also informed the nearest Police Station for lost card and they gave me an acknowledgment for the complaint. After that with the help of ICICI Customer Care I raised a transaction Dispute with the Bank and sent one letter and complaint acknowledgment to the Mumbai Head Office of ICICI Bank.

After that I received a letter from ICICI Bank saying that I have to pay the amount to them which I haven't payed them till now.

Now from last week i am getting calls from the ICICI people that I have to pay the amount and that too in cash and they will close the account.

I would also like to mention the following points

1. At the time of giving the card the bank people say that there is an insurance cover if the card is lost or stolen.

2. The bank people also did not provided me the details of the shops so I was not able to go there and get information about the transactions.

3. The Bank people also did not verify my signatures.
