False information to the customers

Dear All

I am one of the victims of ICICI Credit card department. The reason is:

I own ICICI American Express Gold card since May. I, before making a transaction, called Customercare and inquired about the types of EMI options. She for confirmation, took my 1. Card number 2. issue date 3. Mother's maiden name.

Then she started explaining me about different EMI options available. I opted for 9 months option and told her that, I am going to do the transaction and what is the procedure to convert that into EMI?

She then told me "to do the transaction first and then, call customer care. They will do the rest for you".

Based on interaction with her, I made a transaction and I made a call to customer care. I, then was shell shocked to know that, I cannot convert into EMI because, I didn't completed 3 months.

I was misguided and now, I cannot pay that total amount at once. I was cheated badly by ICICI.
