Hi,
This is a complain regarding the malfunctioning of present in the system of ICICI lombard and the major inconvenience I faced. I bought the ICICI two wheeler policy on 08/10.

The mode of payment was cash. I have the receipt and the hard copy of the policy.
The policy expired on 07/10 and I went to the local ICICI lombard office, Gurgaon. The entry for the policy is missing in the system which is a shameful thing. Instead of renewing the existing policy, they asked me to buy a new one. I have two serious issues with this matter.
1. Why should I buy a new policy If a go to renew the existing policy with in 7 working days of the expiry date?
2. How come the entry of the poilicy is not present in the system? If I would have gone through a situation in which I have to claim it, they could have simply rejected the claim.
I called to their customer care, logged a complain regarding the whole matter. From last 20 days I keep calling them, they do not response.
I am okie if ICICI Lombard renews my policy on the regular discounted rate (because the policy is already existing without filing any claim), or I want the whole premium of previous year for which they did not have entry in the system.
