Premium Amount for Policies

Dear Sir,

I had enquired the premium amount of above noted Policies in Dec.2008. At that time I was told that Premium for Policy No. 362706 (In the name of my wife, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Oberoi) is Rs.9991/- and for Policy No. 00362490 (In my name, Iqbal Singh Oberoi) is Rs.10125/- and both will be due on 05.03.2009. As you are well known that the Service Tax has been reduced to 10.30% since last week. Today when I enquired the premium amount from Customer Care Centre, they have told the same amount. When I asked why it was not reduced as the Service Tax is reduced to 10.30%, they have given the following reply:-

1. We do not know about the change of Service Tax.

2. You deposit the same amount and we will credit the excess amount in your Policiy.

3. The Service Tax will be reduced from 01.04.2009.

Sir, the customer care persons do not know about the things I have enquired. Instead, they gave false information. Please look into the matter and advise them not to give such type of information. Secondly please send me by mail the exact amount of premium of both Policies.
