Extra charged on Holidays

I am having postpaid customer of Idea Cellular.

I am charged extra (than normal pulse or message) on Holidays.

My friend of prepaid never charged for the same. Though Being a postpaid customer paying extra rent of 199 still i am charged extra for each call or message on Holidays. Why so?
