Respected Sir,
I had taken admission in one year computer course in IIHT, Nagpur while serving in Indian Air Force to get a job after my retirement. As I got a job I had taken premature retirement and joined a private company in New Delhi. I paid Rs 47192/- against my tution fees in one lumpsum. I applied for discontinuation of the course and refund of my remaining fee on 29 Jan 09. I only applied two examinations out of ten examinations conducted by IIHT. But after a long wait there was no reply to my application. On query on telephone the director Mr Jaipal Malvedra tried to confuse me saying the decision will come from their regional office at Mumbai as they are depositing all the money with head office at Bangalore. On query from both the office (regional and head office) it was learnt that they are not dealing with any payment, only the institute is dealing with all payments as they collect and keep it with them. The director of IIHT Nagpur told me that you will not get any money as it is not refuindable.
Sir, for your kind information I would like to bring this to your notice that the money I paid to the institure were taken on loan from one of my friends. It is my humble request that the case may be considered sympathetically.
