Not issuing passport

Sir,

I am working in NTPC Ltd a navaratna PSU as senior manager at Rihand (UP). My wife (LILY SULTAN) applied for Indian passport on 29/01/08.Two times police verification done. Everything is ok. File no-A019051-08.Status in the website is showing -police verification is incomplete.case is being examined.

I have informed no. of times to PRO, passport office, Lucknow. No solution I have received till now.how long will I wait for passport? Please help me.
