My mother and sister started their journey in 3AC class from yeswantpur to Tata nagar with a confirmed ticket but unfortunately the original ticket was missed placed but they did had a photo copy of the original ticket, however The TT who was checking tickets he made them to arrange RS:4000 then only the will be allowed to travel or else they will have to get down at the middle of journey itself.
they dint had that much of cash along with them at that point of time. they requested TT that we all 3 members are ladies. they were totally unknown to any places to get down and manage something. even i spoke to the TT over the phone requested him to bare for some time where ever they get any ATM they will withdraw the cash and pay him that remaining money becouse at that point of time they had about RS 2500
(ie more than 50% of the total fair) but he was not even ready to listen anything. he made them to beg the money from anywhere and pay the amount or else get down their itself.

Can you please suggest me what could have been don at that point of time. Is it really not possible to let the passanger travel during such circumstances though.
OR they way i believe that it self is wrong "rules are mad for citizens not the citizens are made for rules"
1) All the three names were there in the reservation chart.
2) Thay had the photo id card with them,
3) They had the xerox copy of Original ticket.
