Atm dispute wrong debit without dispensing cash

Dear All

Today when withdrawal attempt was made in adyar offsite ATM for Rs.5000/-, dispensing process was happening continuously in a ubnormal manner and finally the cash was not dispensed. though the cash was trying to comeout of the dispenser, the dispenser door was not opened and hence the cash went inside. Also some error was shown in the monitor as" SOME EQUIPMENT ERROR, PLEASE TAKE THE CASH IMMEDIATELY"

Finally confirmation was given by the monitor saying"transaction processed successfully", but the amount (i.e. Rs.5000/-) was debited wrongly without dispensing the physical cash. Immediately a call was made to the customer care and got the reply that the system details can be taken only after 8.00am. The complaint no. is SR109698763
