Dear Sir /Madam,
I had booked ticket through IRCTC website to travel from Yeshavantpur (Bangalore) to new Delhi. I had waitlisted ticket and it didn't get confirmed till the last moment. As per the rule, the ticket amount should automatically be returtned to my credit card account but it didn't happen. I checked with onboard TTE and he also suggested to file a TDR to be safe. I did the same but even after 7 months after filing TDR and repeated calls to IRCTC, i didn't get my money back. Whenever I call to IRCTC i get a common reply that Indian railway has not approved return hence money is stuck with them.
I dont know where to go and whom to complain.
Please help me by providing adequate procedure through which I can get my money returned.
