First of all I must say I normally love K-mart. I shop there all the time. I love the Martha Stewart line, I usually find things at K-Mart that I can't find anywhere else. But my experience today, black Friday, was horrible. It has made me rethink my devotion to K-Mart. I went to the Joliet store 3751 this morning to find all the great things that were on sale. First of all there were hardly any sales staff to help. Most things were not marked on sale. It was very difficult to find the things that were on sale. I never found the hanes products that were supposed to be on sale. I did find the Men's boxers which were clearly marked 50% off, but when I got to the register (I waited 15 minutes in one line and then switched to another where I spent another 10 mins) the price was not coming up on sale. I was extremely frustrated by this time and almost told the cashier to cancel the entire sale. Which I didn't. I realize this is the biggest shopping day of the year but the store should have been more prepared. I tried to talk to the manager but was rebuffed. It was the worst experience of my entire day. I went to seven other stores and did not have any trouble at them. I should transfer my business to one of these stores instead of being faithful to K-Mart. Things need to change or else you could lose more than just my business.
