The above said company is/was located at B-2/9, 2nd Floor, Lajpat Nagar - 1, New Delhi and provide MAIDS/DOMESTIC HELPS as claimed by them in newspaper advertisements under the aegis of MRS. JAYA (Cell Phone No. 9312270930)
On 9th JUNE I contacted the above office (Mr. Manoj - Cell Phone No. 9313831663) and asked to provide me a maid at my residence C-72 (GROUND FLOOR), VIKASPURI, NEW DELHI - 110018 after seeing their advertisement in THE TIMES OF INDIA, NEW DELHI.
I was informed by Mr. Manoj that since there was no candidate available RIGHT AWAY, therefore i have to get myself registered with them by paying RUPEES ONE THOUSAND ONLY (Rs.1000/-) and they will provide me with a MAID within a WEEK's TIME. This amount of Rs.1000/- would be adjusted in the fee charged by them for providing the candidate, and this fee wasRs.7000/- at that time.
After Mr. Manoj CONFIRMED/PROMISED me that a maid will be provided in a week's time, i agreed and paid the registration fee of Rs.1000/- only vide reciept number 635 dated 09/06/08 to their staff MR. MISHRA, who came to my residence on the said date to collect this amount.
But its astonishing/disturbing to say that even AFTER ALMOST TWO YEARS, neither the maid was provided to me, nor the money was refunded to me.
I tried to contact MRS. JAYA many times but she was always elusive and no one let me talk to her.
I spoke to Mr. MANOJ many times but he kept on fooling me that he has sent the refund by cheque through courier. WHEN AFTER AN AGONISING WAIT FOR SIX MONTHS, I DID NOT RECIEVE NO REFUND, I CONTACTED MR. MANOJ AGAIN but he abused me/threatened me with dire consequences and said that no refund whatsoever will be made.
Through this forum, i plead and request to kindly take strict action against the said company/people and get me my refund and save me from further mental agony/harassment/threats.
