I had purchased a pair of Denims on 01.02.2009 in LEVIS STRAUSS, exclusive store in Ansal Plaza, New Delhi. The store was on sale for FLAT 40% off.
The serial code is LOT 0L592Y4357 - The barcode says Rs. 2099 with flat 40% off.
But there is old barcode printed underneath the new sticker which say Rs. 1999.
Hence, the company has incrased the MRP to give flat offer to the customer.
This is totally unethical and illegal in case of Textile garments.
The loyalty to the brand is questioned and so is the ethics of the company.
