I recently bought a lg 42 lcd from vijay sales, kharghar, navi mumbai. Well the product was delivered to my address but the installation is not done. I got an sms on my cell saying
"your request id is C09B0717907. For further assistance pls call our helpline 18001809999 or 39010909 (24 hours-7 days) thank you". I called up the no. 39010909 to ask them when they are going to install the tv but I was asked from which place of the country I am calling & my contact no. I gave the person my contact no. & told them I am calling from Maharastra, Kharghar. The executive replied saying there is no place by the name of Kharghar in their system. As questioned I replied to them that Kharghar is in Navi Mumbai. Well even now he could not find the place in their system. Now he asked me a nearest place to kharghar, I told him that its near Belapur, but again he said that its not appearing in their system. With this conversation, I began to get fustrated and asked him to give the line to the customer service manager and he transferred the line to Ms. Pooja. I thought this lady would be smart. I have to again explain the whole thing to her & the reply was same, "neither of the places mentioned are registered in their system". I asked her whether India is registered in their system. Unable to get my questions answered I asked Ms. Pooja to give me alternative nos where I can get the answers & complained registered, but she gave me the same no. which I have dialled.
By lodging this complaint I want to tell the LG officials that either they are having a poor staff who doesnt have basic knowledge of operating the systems or they dont have the proper systems installled in their organisations.
I simply cannot digest that the place Navi mumbai, kharghar or belapur is not registered in their system. If that is the case then how do they sell products in these areas & how come Vijay sales is having showroom at Kharghar.
Well I am wondering whether I will be able to get in touch with the customer care & get the tv installed.
