I purchased shoes from the Bata Outlet in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. 110092 on 25th of July and those shoes were found defective in the sense that the material of the shoe was not robust enough to bear the pressure caused by tightning of the shoelaces and started tearing off. When I contacted the dealer in this regard they said that I should not worry as the condition was normal. on 1st of september I again went to the store shoe lace holes were not ready to use. When I went to the store again on 01-09 to show that the two holes meant for shoelaces have become one due to the defective material. two holes became one due to the tearing of material between the two holes. But they refused to entertain me due to lack of bill. I against went to them on 12-09 alogwith the bill and they accepted the shoes for inspection/exchange and issued me a slip to that effect. Today on 21-09 when I went there they are not able to exchage the shoes because according to them there is nobody in the showroom which can handle the computer system. I am very much surprised to learn that a shoe which is meant for 12 hours daily use and which was actually used for 1 hour daily (Morning Walk Only) could not bear the burden of bearing the shoe for even one month (bearing only 1 hour daily). kindly do something about it.
