This mail is to let you know about a discrepancy I have noticed in my current month's bill. My consumber number is: 160220202566. The bill is under the name of SHRI AMITKUMAR & URMILA DEVI.

The current bill dated 28-SEP-09 (due date 5-Nov-09) shows that the meter is faulty and hence an amount of Rs.450 has been charged as the outstanding amount.

However, I would like to inform you that I am out of India since June and that is why there has been very low or no consumption of electricity in my flat. The flat is closed and all electrical equipments in it are switched off now. It is only when some minor work is done in the flat which I get done through some people that lights may be used for not more than 10 minutes at one time. This too is very very rare.

In a nutshell, the meter is not faulty and there is practically no electricity consumption at all. Hence, I request you to correct the bill at the earliest so that I can pay the minimum rental amount in the next month. All my bills are paid till date as I have been paying the bills online. However, I will not pay the current bill unless it is corrected.

I am looking forward to your early co-operattion so that the matter is resolved as soon as possible.
