Mahindra Logan 1.5 DLX
POOR Pickup after shifting GEAR

I am writing this mail after i got disappointed very much.

I bought mahindra logan 1.5 DLX on JUN 08 and it has travelled 9100 KMS.

My car regn no is "TN 22 BB 8094 and i purchased from GMS motors, velachery, chennai.

I did my last service in GMS as a free service on JUL 09.

For the past one month, iam experiencing a problem with my logan.

After i travelled for about 10 KMS, car speed is not picking up even though the engine is rising and there was huge noise from engine.

Problem is experienced more during climbing upwards.

There is no pick up after shifting the gear.

So i went to INDIA GARAGE, velachery, chennai and they inspected and told me that i need to replace Clutch Plates, cover assembly and fork plates which is costing about Rs15000.

They told me that they did drive test and they are able to come to this conclusion that the clutch plates have gone bad.

When i specifically ask them whether they had disassembled the clutch assembly and observe the clutch wear and tear physically, the service engineer said NO.

this is really shocking to me how this is possible and i am not very bad driver.

I think this is due to very bad support from mahindra for LOGAN cars and dealers, service people are not interested to look into root cause of any problem and simply they want to extract money from customers.

I need very solid support from mahindra to identify my real problem and resolve my issue as early as possible.

Hereafter iam not going to recommend anybody to buy mahindra logan due to its high maintenance cost.
