During 1st visit Skoda Monogram was replaced and the vehicle was delivered to you on the same day

Yes the service was fantastic on this day which prompted me to come next time to TAL.

During the 2 nd visit in the month of Nov clutch kit, battery, VSS Sensors was required to be replaced and basis on your approval the components had been replaced and the vehicle had been delivered to your good self by weeks’ time

In this visit I also mentioned gear shifting being hard to Mr. Mahesh (Service Advisor) along with the clutch kit. I was given an estimate of 40 to 50k over phone which I approved. Again the call was made for the gear casing being broken without which the clutch plate could not be fitted. This Mr. Mahesh told was due to the pressing of the gear harder than usual by myself in reverse gear position. The estimate was revised to 75 to 80k again which I approved. While I went for delivery Mr. Mahesh was not present but his manager Mr. Aamir Ahmed arranged for delivery. My bill surprisingly was 1.04 Lakhs far over the estimate for which no approvals were sought for. (This can be checked if you ask for my approval record from TAL). On test driving the vehicle I found the key remote was not working and the gear was still getting stuck in the reverse position. This was reported to Mr. Aamir Ahmed and Mr. A J Louis. I was literally not happy seeing my bill not as per the estimate and top of that my problem of gear being hard was still not resolved. Mr. Aamir fired Mr. Mahesh SA for the lapses and apologised to me for the same. I told them to keep the vehicle for getting the issue corrected but since the Gear Shifter Cable was not available was suggested to take the delivery. The cable was committed to be in place within 15 Days and I tried changing the battery of the key remote. (As a proof you can check this was billed separately after closing of the 1.04 Lakhs bill) The remote dint work so was suggested to get the barrel replaced with an estimate of 10k. The same was also ordered by myself for replacement.

During 3 rd visit in the month of Feb the vehicle had reported for paid service, gear shifting hard where only paid service was approved by your good self and other works as per the attachment 1 was not been carried since the approval was not given.

On continuous follow up for the gear shifter cable with Mr. Mahesh / Mr. Mallesh there was no respite. Every time I was promised a week’s time for the components ordered. In the mean time got indicator on my dash board for routine service for which I booked an appointment and sent the vehicle. Still there was no clue of the gear shifter cable and Key Barrel. The routine service was completed. On the invoice TAL has mentioned that gear shifting, key remote and rest of the things were not approved which I mentioned on the feedback form that the stocks were not available.(Can be verified with my comments in record with TAL and the stock reports of the TAL stores department on stock availability). Again the components were committed in a week’s time. No option on hand took the delivery.

During the 4th Visit in the month of Mar the vehicle had again reported for the concern of Gear shifting hard during this time basis on the approval shared by your goodself gear shift related components been replaced and it was shared in the invoice for the requisite replacement of the components (Timing kit, water pump, radiator needs replacement and the same was not approved –attachment 2)

On again as usual with TAL follow up for the gear shifter cable was done by myself. After a month of follow up got a call for the replacement of the gear shifter cable. I still gave a go ahead as had no options. After two days Mr. Mallesh informed me of the coolant & oil getting mixed due to which the other components related to the coolant required replacement. This happened in spite of the vehicle was under routine service less than a month. The work was completed and informed to me for taking delivery. On delivery again the same story on an estimate of 20k my bill was 45k. This time I raised my issue with TAL GM Mr. S H Sharma who promised to look into the matter and help. Mr. Mallesh the service advisor pleaded for the mistake from his side and requested me not to complain and pay the bill. I never wanted to put someone’s job in trouble so paid the bill without even meeting Mr. S H Sharma. (Mail attached.)

During 5th Visit in the month of May the vehicle had reported for coolant light glowing subsequently your approval had been received and the dealership had replaced the water pump with gasket and the vehicle was delivered to you.

Again after so much of trouble the car was not in Road worthy condition. Did not expect to get delivery and within a month we can expect a massive failure in the car. I again sent my car to your ASC. This time again they gave reasoning of Car being old. This time the reason given was of timing belt replacement. I told them that after this I should not get the same problem which was assured to me after much discussion and inputs from Mr. Sharma and Mr. Naveen. Since I knew my Car is old and things can happen but my only expectation was to have my Car worked up by some competent staff. In the discussions it came to the light that the key remote was not even placed an order for which M. S H Sharma took a note of and ordered the same. Mail Attached.

6th Visit

On 21st May I took the delivery and on 23rd again the light was glowing now how do you expect me to understand to further convincing from TAL. I had communicated to Mr. S H Sharma also. But I think there might be some limitations. The team which came for inspection of car at my office suggested to pour in water and wait for two days. If the problem persist the car can be sent to ASC. Mr. Naveen has suggested to put my complain to Skoda directly as they are merely a ASC and cannot do anything.

My Car broke down completely and had to tow the car to your service centre. After which again there is an estimate of 45k given. Now tell me one thing how do I rely on some incompetent feedback.

Having the remote not working have to open the car from the boot. Being part of the senior management have to attend meetings and market visits it is an awkward situation and for myself when had to operate my car. Try operating locking/ unlocking the car from the dickey/boot space which I had done for last 6 months.

If you still feel this mail is to ask for favours or asking for discounts from the MD of a company you are wrong. You should also check the profile of a customer who is writing to you. Have got into a habit of not having my Car now so If you still feel TAL has been very helpful enough to give my Car in a road worthy experience. Am ready to forget I have a SKODA car. Please keep it as a gift.
