I have booked a SWIFT VDI (Arctic White) on 24th July by paying initial deposit of Rs. 10, 000 from Indus Motors co. pvt ltd., kayamkulam on 27th July. The delivery of the vehicle was PROMISED within 45 to 60 days, although they haven’t given me any written commitment regarding this period. I have lost count of the phone calls that I made to the dealer in the past few weeks and I made at least three visits to the dealer. The most annoying part is that they give me false hope saying your vehicle will be ready in 3 days, under a week, before 30th of Sep and so-on. I’m writing this letter to inform you about my deep dissatisfaction resulting from the poor customer service and irresponsible act of the maruti dealers from whom I booked a SWIFT car. I believed that Maruti and its dealers are pledged to give prime importance to the interests of its customers, but i don't think it is keeping its promises lately. The dealer is blaming maruti nowadays for its failure to deliver me the car; they claim that maruti is shipping most of its products only to North India because of the festival season there. I was badly in need of a car very soon because I have to take my wife to the hospital every week for her maternity checkup, since my home is in a remote place without quick access to any taxis or other transport service. I have finally decided to book some other vehicle which is more readily available and good with their promises. I don’t think there is any point in waiting for Indus to deliver the car, because the only thing they are good in is giving false promises. The trauma and dissatisfaction caused due to this prolonged delay is prompting me to cancel the booking and I will never suggest the brand to any of my friends and relatives.
