I have booked a Maruti Swift VXi without ABS vide receipt number: REC09000622 dated 25/06 with customer id I092139822 through dealer Ratan Motors, Chembur, Mumbai. At the time of booking I was told that delivery would be made within 45 days (Copy of letter of committment is with me).
However, everytime I call Ratan Motors they keep repeating that the company is not despatching the vehicles and therefore they are unable to give me delivery of the same. I have talked to each and every refered responsible persons starting from the concerned booking person (A team leader of the dealer), AGM upto the owner of the company in this regard. They are unable to tell the status of the delivery of the vechile even after 3 months of the booking.
I have registered a complain on the toll free number (18001800180) in this regard. the complain number is 9025676037 dated 25/08.
Can somebody please advise if there is an on-line system (besides the toll free nos. which are of no help really) to check allotments/delivery status?? How do I get a clear picture on the status of my vehicle.
Also, will maruti pay me interest on the booking amount of Rs.21, 000/- for delayed delivery???
Shall i cancel the booking and go for the other car of the same segment.
I heared Maruti had served the nation nicely in the past, will this type of action considered as the good service.
I am very sorry to say that after going through this type of treatment/harasment, the craze of byeing and owning a maruti car has simply gone for a toss.
