Experience of soreness.
My endeavour with Maruti Udyog Calicut branch is a reminiscence of a
Govt enterprise where you are under their mercy and being treated as some sub standard customer, either they have not entered into this competitive era or they still prefer to remain with their prehistoric virtues where customers abide to their cynicism.
My only wrong doing as enlightened by them is booking a car, Swift Dzire Zdi after paying a measly sum as the booking amount and going through their booking formalities on the 4/7. At that time the expected date of delivery by them was after 6 to 8 mths. Having waited for 3 months I decided to check up. The senior sales man who did our booking turned out to be incompetent in responding to my request. He had the art of stalling me every time I called him with some excuse. So my next aim apart from my daily schedule of my work became to constantly try to attain information of some kind from them. After fruitless attempts a break through occurred only to find out that the initial waiting period of 6 to 8 months now turned out to be a yr, their reason, Maruti is not able to maintain their promise. Meanwhile they did not have the courtesy to inform me. After confronting them with this unexpected delay, when you have other agencies who are queuing up to provide the same car in the stipulated time of 6 mths, may be with some extra cash to stimulate them, the staff’s response to the statement was to go to that dealer and get the car. I think having waited for 3 months and after repeated attempts from my side to finally get this remark of cynicism was quite immature from them.
All I have to say to Maruti Udyog – Calicut branch is “Grow up. Being a professional act like one for the badge that you represent is quite a heavy one in its legacy.”
