People are simply cheated at this LPG fuel station located at Anna Salai Saidapet. Since there are very few LPG stations in chennai, there is always a long queue at this pump. Well their modus operand is to first of all ask our car to park much ahead of the fuel dispenser. The minute you park they start filling your car before you could ensure zero. After few sec they tell us the tank is air locked or similar stories and ask us to switch on the car and accelerate. Well till that point the actual gas filled is about .6 (point 6). now they refill the car for about 17-18 litres and asks us to go a bit ahead. Now you get the bill for 23 litres!!! I realized it the second time when i filled and made a big fuzz and made the manager and everyone around aware. But i guess its how they have been doing making a clean chunk of about rs. 180 per consumer. A neat profit in lakhs per month. This is just to make people aware and if there is a positive step to help consumers.
