In March I recd. a credit card bill for my ABN AMRO credit card for renewal charges. I have been told that the card was free for life and no renewal fees will be applicable. Even then they sent me the bill. On receiving their phone call, I told them to close the credit card and I am not ready to pay the bill. There were no outstandings on my credit card before the bill.
After that, I did not get any bill or response from them and again in June I got their bill with the renewal charges late fees.
Even after complaining them again and again, they don't seem to hear us and go on sending bills with late fees.
Can somebody help in this matter or should we take law in our hands when their person comes to us?
