My name is Sujit Ghumkar and I hold an ABN AMRO Titanium Credit card No 5239504003144931.
I requested SBI CARD for a balance transfer from ABN AMRO card. Regarding this I deposited a cheque of Rs. 20, 000 dated 14/01/09, Cheque No.986002 received from SBT Bank (state bank of travancore) at your fountain, Mumbai branch on 20/01/09. But this cheque was misplaced at your site. Regarding this I have reported a complaint at your helpdesk. The Complaint no. is 09020800772 dated 8/02/09
The reply which I got on 11/02/09 was that, the cheque has been found and it’s under clearance process …..
On Saturday I received a call from your customer care saying that the cheque was never found. Also I was asked to fax my SBI card statement showing the transfer happened. The fax no. provide was not existing (Nitin Talwar – 01145612989). Now again I receive a call saying that the cheque was never found ….. This exercise has caused me monetary loss as well as mental annoyance.
Request you to please take a quick action regarding this ….. Expecting a very prompt reply from the Bank.
Any further trouble from your bank will compel me to report your case to the consumer court as well as my company’s legal department …….
