On 17th August while going to Bhayendar from Kandivali (W) I have used Indian Railways SMART CARD. It happen so that I placed my card on ATVM machine card holder, press the necessary buttons and at the time of printing ticket red light blowed showing no paper inside. To enquire about it I went and checked at ticket window near to the ATVM machine the person told me to go to Kandivali (E) ticket counter when I went there they send me to other ticket counter, it was for half hour I was been send from one ticket counter to other. In end I went to Station Master office, he was not there someone called him on walky talky and asked him. Again I was send to Kandivali (east) were I made the Supervisor who after checking the card told me that I have to take a fresh return ticket as they can't do anything about it. He told me the machine are on contract basis and he can't help me. I asked him that why they don't check if paper are available in ATVM regularly, execuse given by him were many and in that one main was that people misused it. But most of the time that ATVM machine is not operational only. It was not Rs.12 which I lost but the service which was provided by the Kandivali station staff. It could have been that they could have come and check the ATVM machine which they didn't did. They could have loaded the machine with the papers so other couldn't suffer but no action was taken by them. Our honourable Railway minster Mr. Laluprasad Yadav is coming up with new new facility for the common commuter and in that condition this is the way common man is treated. Its realy ridiculous.
