I purchased a Nokia Express Nusic Cell Phone (Nokia-5130C) from the Prime Retail India Pvt. Ltd., 1, R.N. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata-700 001 (Dalhousi Area) on 2nd July vide their Invoice No.15984 on cash payment. Before purchasing the set, during our querries, we were told by the Nokia personnel that the particular set is having Mini Opera by which directly you can get access to the Internet, and they have practically shown us also that internet was coming to the newly purchased phone set. Then we enquire whether it can be used on our Laptop; they flatly and affirmatively told us that offcourse the Net can be used on the Laptop by using the data chord given along with the set. But after reaching our home, it was not coming to our Laptop, rather, the phone couldn't be installed with the Laptop. One of my freinds told me that they purchased the same set a few days back and using it for net services with his PC and also reiterated that a CD was also given absolutely free by that Nokia dealer from where they purchased. He told us that only after using that driving CD net can be used on our Laptop.
Today morning, after reaching my office, I rang the shop wherefrom I purchased the Nokia Phone and asked to let me talk with any Nokia personnel. When I started describing all these problems to the Nokia Person, they started misbehaving me with a big shout that it was not written on the box of the phone, so they also didnt provide the CD. Even he did not provide me the list of Nokia Care Centers where we may approach.
My verified complaints are :
A) Before selling, the Nokia persons never told us that a CD is required to get Net services over the Laptop even on our querries too; they only told us that whenever we connect the data chord with the PC we will get the Internet.
B) When I tried to assemble the informations from them about the solution of the said problem they got annoyed and shouted like anything and they were also not in mood to give a hearing to my appeal. These short of people should be punished instantly. There is no point of reason or justification to misbehave with bonafide customer like of us.
C) I want immediate redressal and immediately the shop keeper or and the Nokia should provide me the driver CD required to install the net services on the Laptop.
