We purchased 2 cell phone Handsets of Nokia on 21st March. 1 handset is working absolutely fine. But the other handset (Nokia 2600 Classic), started giving some problems from the past 3 days. We went to the showroom (Sangeetha - Jayanagar 4th Block - Bangalore). We were guided to approach the Nokia service center. When I approached the Service center folks in Jayanagar 3rd Block, Bangalore, they analysed the problem and told that some water might have crept into the handset and this has burnt a few electronic devices in the handset. As far as my knowledge, we have never dropped this handset down. No way, some water can creep into the handset, since we take utmost care. Although, this new handset is just 2 weeks old and is under warranty, the service center folks say, that they can neither repair it, nor provide us a replacement handset. They literally asked me to trash this new Handset, which is not at all acceptable. If it is an old handset, it might not have mattered. It is a brand new handset we have purchased and is just 2 weeks old. Not sure whom to approach, so I'm lodging a complaint here. Hope, I do get justice and these Nokia guys provide me a replacement handset.
