Nokia 6085
Is hardware is freely repairable within warranty period??

Hi,

I have NOKIA-6085 under warranty period. From a month or twice i amn't able to insert memory-card into it, so i went to NOKIA customer service NIgdi. they told me that the lock has been broken. Though my phone is under warrenty period, to repair the same they are asking me to give 900 rs. I just want to know is this the case that hardware is not freely repairable for piece under warranty??
