I had purchased a NOKIA 6500 Slide last year. Due to some reason most of the keypad buttons were not working. When I reported the issue to Customer Care, the cost of repairs was put to 1600 plus taxes. I do not understand the reason for the unreasonably high cost of repairs. Whats more shocking is the bahovior of the Customer Care personnel who simply asked whether I want to get it done or should the phone be returned.
Looks like NOKIA does not care for its customers any more. Being the market leader does not give it the right to take customers for a ride.
The Customer Care representative says the retail oulet that I purchased the mobile from (HOTSPOT) sells tampered mobilr phones. Does the company think that customers are damn fools and believe what ever nonsense they say.
I have decided never ever to purchase any HCL or NOKIA product in future.
