Dear sir,
I have pruchase a Nokia mobile phone having model no - 1661-2 from Jagat Janani Telecome Center, Jeypore / Koraput district of Orissa state for my wife. The date of purchase 26.05.09 and the price was Rs1950/-.In a hurry the mobile was fell down from my hand and the lower part of the screen of the mobile was not visible. I went to the shop and said the problem and request him for exchange or return the mobile, but the shopkeeper said once it purchase then the shop keeper can not help after that. Then I went to the Nokia care service center (Eswari Traders), Jeypore on 20th June 09 and showed him the mobile along with authentic bill. As per the center, there is some damage in LCD and it will take Rs1300/- for repairing. When I said my warrenty period is not over and they said there is no free service for any damage. After that I am writing to you for considering my case and suggest me what I will do further. I never think such a product came into market having poor quality. Why the company loose its name and fame?
In your service manual it is clearly mention that You must return your product or the affected part to a Nokia care centre or Nokia designated service location before the expiry of the Warranty period. Then why the nokia care required money, I donot under stand?
Please help me in this regard keep maintain your name and fame in the world for ever.
