Warranty support on Mobile phone

I purchased a NOKIA E 90 phone from a reputed dealer in New Delhi in November. In about 15 days of the purchase the phone started misbehaving and on the 9th of the December the mike stopped working. There was no AUDIO OUT from my handset.

On the 11th of Dec. the phone was given to Nokia Care in O-9 Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The compalint Job slip no is 500434038/071211/2. They told me the handsetr will be returned in 6 to 7 working days. Ever since I have been calling them and now it is more than 2 weeks but still my phone has not been returned till now.

I wonder what a company means by warranty? Is t=it ethical to keep a customers phone for such a long time under the name of warranty support?? I spent Rs. 38, 500.00 on the phone and since 2 weeks I still have no asurance when the handset will be rectified and returned?

It should be the responsibility of the company to look into the matter and replace a handset if it is not possible to repair the same even in 15 days!!

I request that the issue be resolved ASAP and hope this mail will reach the right people behind the desks.
