I purchased Nokia Mobile 6085 from Preet Enterprises, Manimajra on 24/08
against their Invoice No.0179.Other detail recorded in the particulars column of the invoice is - D./IMEI No. 358061018987024. The mobile started rejecting SIM and also required repeated battery charging during the Warranty Period. On my complaint to the seller, Preet Enterprises, I was directed to contact one Mr. Hitender in SCO 66 Ist Floor, Sector 7 Panchkula, who were reported as authorised dealers for repairs of the Nokia Mobiles. The set was returned to me after three months but I was not fully satisfied with the performance because the unit required repeated charging even after change of Battery.
Now that for the last about 3 months, the instrument was rejecting SIM and at times accepting the same SIM afterwards, I went to a local authorised dealer to get the defect corrected. Meanwhile, I have purchased yet another Nokia Mobile set No.2730 claassic so as to have a spare instrument.
My earlier instrument (6085) was returned to me suggesting to avoid repairs as the repair cost is very heavy.
I and my family are using Nokia Mobile Sets for the last many years without any problem of repairs, except change of battery at times.
I feel there is/was some inherent defect in the set I procured on 24/08.This needs investigation and compensating me for the loss resulting therefrom.
