I am really fed up of visiting these so called Nokia Care centers. I bought a brand new Nokia N81 from a Nokia Showroom (Nokia Sector 22, Chandigarh) for Rs.14, 200 about 20 days ago. Only a week after the purchase the Navigation wheel stopped working all together. And just 2-3 days after that phone camera also stopped working. Whenever i try to activate the camera an error appears (Camera feature not supported). And when i went to Nokia Care center (Sector 34, Chandigarh) they checked my phone and told me that it will take about 10-15 days to get my phone fixed and it will cost me around Rs.2 to 4 thousand. When i told them that my phone is within the warranty period, they told me that i must have dropped my mobile. They said it because their warranty doesn't cover the malfunction due to external damage. Even when i argued that there is not even a single scratch on any part of the mobile, they kept saying it must have fallen. I kept saying that i purchased a leather cover for mobile at the time when i bought the mobile. I have always carried mobile in that leather cover and i know, i never dropped my cell phone. And absence of any scratch or mark on mobile proves my statement.
I am being harassed unduly by the Nokia Care people. Its been 9 days since i visited Nokia Care shop and in the mean time i have again visited them twice. But my phone is still not working properly. This careless attitude of Nokia has to be dealt with.
