Harressment by Ticket Checker

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that we (I along with my Daughter in-law) were travelling on a e-ticket from New Delhi to Lucknow by Sharmjeevi Express Train No: 2392 on 22nd November (PNR 2143505236; Transaction ID:0031023034) booked through website www.irctc.co., wherein I had used my PAN card as my Identification id as required by the website, While Boarding at New Delhi I was bit late to reach the train but somehow I managed to borad in General Class instead of Sleeper Class Booking (S 2 coach). When the train stopped at Ghaziabad Station I managed to get down from General class and Moved to Sleeper Class as per my reservation in coach-S2 berth-04 where my daughter In-Law was already present on her Reserved Berth (coach S 2, Berth 03). Thereafter it came to my knowledge that My Daughter In-Law was charged Penalty of Rs.371 (Rs.121 for basic fare & Rs.250 for travelling without ticket) for not showing the id because the Id mentioned in the Ticket was mine (PAN Card). TC again came and checked my ID at Ghaziabad station and was then satisfied but refused to refund the Penaly amount of Rs.371, even after my showing the Line written on the printout of the e-ticket that was with my daughter which clearly stated that "E-Ticket Passenger is permitted in the train against a berth/seat only when his name appears in the reservation chart failing which he can be treated as a passenger travelling without ticket". Since my daughter's name was very much there in the reservation chart then why was she charged penaly of Rs371 as she should not be treated as "Passenger without Ticket".

My daughter In law tried to convince the TC about the Situation but it was shocking for me when it came to my knowledge she had been harrassed already a lot by the Ticket Checker Mr. Ashutosh singh. Latter on the matter was reported to Mr. J.C.Mandal (Dy CIT NR MB) who was also checking the Tickets in AC class, but he also did'nt pay any heed and said we cannot refund the money.

please look in the matter and refund the wrongly charged penaly amount by the said TC/TT.
