ORDER OF STATE CONSUMER COMMISSION ENDORSED BY NATIONAL COMMISSION
NON-PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION BY MCD

1. I complained to Distt. Consumer Forum regarding misuse & damage to my car by some one, while the car was parked in the MCD parking (Case No.247/95). The distt. Forum, Tis Hazari, in its order dated 6/1/99 found deficiency in service by the MCD and ordered MCD to pay me the total compensation amount of Rs.76, 108.80 with 15% interest w.e.f.16/02/95.

2. The MCD then approached State Commission vide their appeal No. A-176/1999, who reduced the amount and asked the MCD to pay Rs. 20, 000.00 vide their order dated 4/10.

3. The MCD then approached National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, and filed Revision Petition No. 2642 of 2005. The Commission refused to entertain the appeal of MCD and agreed with the State Commission observations. The Commission, then sent a copy of their order dated 19/07.

So much time has passed, but till now I have not received the compensation from MCD. Please advise me, whether I again appeal to the Distt. Forum for payment of Rs. 20, 000.00 with interest (with copies of all three orders).
