Dear sir,
It is submitted that we have purchased a camera model DMC FX-10 on 24th April from M/s Mustafa, Singapore. After using this model for ten days, it stopped working. We then tried to find out the service center for Panasonic near by our home town Bhopal in India. It is at Indore (M.P.), which is around 200 KM away from our home town, BHOPAL. We then went to Indore & handed over camera to M/s Narayani services at Indore on 14th May’2008. Despite constant follow up It is regretted that till date We have not received our camera back. The irony is that M/s Narayani services have sent the camera to your service center at Mumbai as they do not have proper software to check the camera. The following issues need to be pondered :
• Is Panasonic committed to prompt & satisfactory “Customer Services “? If ‘YES”, then what sort of compensation is awarded to help less customer for taking more than stipulated time of repair? In our case it has taken more than four months time & still the camera is with your service centre at Mumbai.
• What sort of monitoring is being followed up at country level & global level? It seems neither your Head- Office at Chennai in India nor your global service monitoring at Japan is concerned about our problem. Please remember that today you may ignore our complaint of poor service but tomorrow you may have to pay heavy price for the same.
• What will happen if I refer this case to Print & Electonic Media? Now I have decided to refer this uniqe case to all concerned atleast at internet.
• If you do not respond positively then I may finally file a legal case in the consumer court.
• • Hope a good sense will prevail & the company will return my Camera with due compensation.
