Passport not available after 4 months??

Reference No.: A027759, Application date : 31st March'08, Police file clearance no .:275/IP/VC/SB/CYB

This is regarding the passport application of my wife Mrs Mahua Chatterjee (Reference no.: A027759, passport application date : 31st March'08)

I have made several Grievance reports ONLINE in this regard. From last two months, your online database was showing that police report was pending.

Last Friday..we went to your office personally..but was unable to meet you after waiting for 3 hrs & was totally frustrated. Also, now last Sunday (27th July'08)..we again had the Police verification done at Miyapur zone by Police Inspector Mr Parmaiyah (mobile : 09490617398) as the previous police verification file has been lost. I have again submitted all the documents required for Police verification to Mr Parmaiyah.

Pls help me from RPO, Hyderabad:

* When RPO, Hyderabad office is going to despatch passport?

* What are the actions your department is taking so that this kind of delays don't happen in future?

* Is there any specific timeframe for obtaining passport for Normal category?
