Delay in despatch of passport

Dear sir

i applied for the passport dated on 08-07. my file referance number is PAT- A083910 -08 and my police verification was also done in month of august -08 but i did not get my passport while in status it is showing that " It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time " for last two months.

you kindly suggest me for further course of action.
