Delay in passport issuing

I have applied for a passport on 9.02.2009. My file reference no is TRY A00681709. But till date no police verification has been done. I urgently need my passport. So please do forward this to the specified concern. I exactly dont know whether this is a delay of passport office or police station. Concerned police station is Kuthalam, Mayiladuthurai.
